Info on Takawashi clan:
Even though they live in the Leaf, many believed that the Takawashi clan originally originated from the Stone Village, since they only seem to know Earth Type jutsu. But, a child was born who was born with weak bones and can't use any chakra type attacks. Thnks to this child, the Takawashi clan was put to shame. Later on, the clan went to fight the nine-tailed fox but most never came back. Only two members survived, the child and her father. Or, did more members survive the battle?
Info on bloodline:
The markings is like an off and on switch. It disappears and designs appear on the face of the user when using the bloodline then returned to normal when not using the bloodline. The bloodline triples the person intelligence, strength, and chakra. Not only that, it also helps disabled clan members to heal themsleves and fight like a normal ninja, but only temporaly. For example, if a Takawashi clan member is blind and uses the bloodline, they won't be blind anymore, but only until they stop using the bloodline. Not only that, the bloodline is also a double edged sword, use it too much and it will shorten you life span since it's healing you at the same time.
